Caludon Castle School

Any local group that wants to make a positive impact in their community needs the support of local partners and our group has benefitted from the valuable input of our closest partner, Caludon Castle School. The school offers great facilities to our local residents including public access to the library, sports centre and swimming pool.

The Friends of Caludon Castle Park have a close and productive partnership with Caludon Castle School who provide the venue for committee and public meetings. The school has demonstrated a genuine committment to the development of the park and it's facilities as well as providing the opportunity for their pupils to appreciate the importance of an historical site so close to the school.

Many thanks to the continued support of Catherine Leech, Eve McFadden and more recently Marie Wears in ensuring that the school is an active member of the Friends of Caludon Castle Park. The school has undertaken a number of important projects within the park including:
