Car Park and Lighting Scheme

Caludon Castle Park will benefit from a new car park and lighting scheme as part of the range of new improvements supported by the Friends of Caludon group.

At present, it is planned to create a car park that can retain a grass look whilst being resilient to cars. A small scheme to light the access road from the main entrance to the car park is also planned. Our longer term goal is to uplight the castle ruin and provide an electric supply to decorate an annual Christmas tree for the park. Any new information or designs will be posted here as soon as we get them.
